5 Day Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Queenstown! Getting to mi-pad is easy, with the hotel conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the Stanley Street bus stop.
If you're arriving at Queenstown Airport, hop on the Number 1 bus, which departs from the bus stop located directly outside the terminal. Services run approximately every 15 minutes, so you can get from the airport to mi-pad with ease.
To travel on the bus, you'll need either a Bee Card or cash. A cash fare costs $10, while a Bee Card fare is just $2.50. Bee Cards can be purchased from the Paper Plus store inside the airport terminal.
Once you've arrived at mi-pad, check in and make yourself at home. Take some time to unwind on our rooftop terrace, where you can soak up views of Lake Whakatipu and the surrounding mountains while enjoying a complimentary hot drink from our hot drink vending machines.
Day 2: Hit the Slopes
With spring snowfall keeping conditions fresh, there's no better time to experience The Remarkables. From mi-pad, it's just a 6-minute walk to the Station Building, where you'll find the NZ Ski buses servicing both Coronet Peak and The Remarkables.
Be sure to book your ski bus in advance via the NZ Ski website before your trip. Spend the morning carving up the slopes and taking in the stunning alpine scenery. When it's time for a break, stop by the iconic Aperol Ice Bar for an après-ski drink with mountain views before heading back to town.
For dinner, make your way to SODA, where you'll find a menu of locally inspired dishes, creative cocktails, and a relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for winding down after a day on the mountain.
Day 3: Discover Milford Sound
No trip to Queenstown is complete without visiting Milford Sound, often referred to as the unofficial eighth wonder of the world. Whether you choose to fly, take a scenic helicopter journey, or travel by coach, the breathtaking landscapes along the way are all part of the experience.
Be sure to pack some snacks, a water bottle, and plenty of layers, as it can be a long day and the weather can change quickly. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, including seals, dolphins, and native birdlife, as you cruise beneath towering peaks, cascading waterfalls, and dramatic fiords. It's a day you'll remember long after you've returned home.
Day 4: Relax & Recharge
After a busy first three days, it's time to slow down and relax. Head to The Bathhouse Spa Queenstown for some well-deserved downtime, where you can soak in the pools, unwind in the steam room and sauna, and enjoy Queenstown's only European-style bathhouse.
